Up for bids is a digital copy of Portal 2 for the PC via STEAM. So before you bid, please ensure you have a STEAM account that I can trade to you with! If you don't have one, STEAM accounts are free to create.

To make things more interesting, for EVERYONE that puts in a bid, I will send every bidder at the end of this auction their choice of:
♥ one Portal 2 wall paper (last 3 images) or
♥ digital comic book - "Portal 2: The Rat"

The winner will get the game, all wallpapers, and digital comic book. So put in your bids and get in on the Portal goodness!

► About the Game
Portal 2 draws from the award-winning formula of innovative gameplay, story, and music that earned the original Portal over 70 industry accolades and created a cult following.

The single-player portion of Portal 2 introduces a cast of dynamic new characters, a host of fresh puzzle elements, and a much larger set of devious test chambers. Players will explore never-before-seen areas of the Aperture Science Labs and be reunited with GLaDOS, the occasionally murderous computer companion who guided them through the original game.

The game’s two-player cooperative mode features its own entirely separate campaign with a unique story, test chambers, and two new player characters. This new mode forces players to reconsider everything they thought they knew about portals. Success will require them to not just act cooperatively, but to think cooperatively.

Winner will need to contact me within 3 days with their STEAM ID so that I can transfer the digital game to them.

♪ Thanks for looking and happy bidding! ♫

can you lower the days

A.) I set it up like that initially because I wanted my auction to ..."ferment" and really get some eyes on it. That's the whole point from a seller stand-point.

B.) Even if I did want to change it, It is fruitless to ask after bids have gone in because you cannot change dates or other details in an auction afterwards.

I just made a steam account a few days ago am got a pack with four games, so I have have a question, if I won this, how exactly does the trading process work if I do not have the code?

Hello - with STEAM games, sometimes you will be give a code to activate and redeem on STEAM, and sometimes you can get multiple copies of the same game, which in my case, that's what happened - so I didn't get a code, but instead a gift version of the game that resides in my STEAM inventory.

Basically I would have to add you as a friend so I can gift/transfer the game to you. You need to be added to friendlists in order to contact and trade with people on STEAM. Once I add you, I would just gift the game to you and it will get delivered to your STEAM account, so when you log in you will get a notification of a gift sent to you and you can activate it right there.

Sorry I ask, I am just new to the site, only curious because I really want this game

Oh I was just looking at the game in my STEAM account and it also appears that I can email it as well, though it will still require the recipient to have a STEAM account. If the person did not have a STEAM account, the email would walk you through creating a new one.

Awesome! STEAM is a great community and you can also buy some great games for real steals during sales, so you won't regret making your account.

You're also very welcome, if you have any more questions I am happy to answer if I can. Good luck!

what if you never have bought a game or thing and you don't have a premium account

You don't need a premium account, you just need to sign up for a free Steam account if you don't have one. You don't need to have bought any games or nothing. This can even be your first game if you want it to be. All you need is to have a Steam account to run this game.

Just so everyone here knows, I will be taking off to go to PAX Prime tomorrow morning! So this means that if I don't get your information TONIGHT before then, I MAY not be able to transfer the game to you before I leave... though it's possible I can transfer while I'm away as I'll have my laptop but I'm not sure what wifi connection will be like where I'm staying...

So consider this is just a fair warning that you may not get your game until I come back home late on Monday.
