mrspazyspade, this unit provides high-speed data connection between IDE
device and USB 2.0 or IEEE 1394 Host. Don't know if this helps or not, I

To help ease everyones mind, it is an enclosure for your 2.5 inch hard
disc drive so it can become an external hard drive to use for extra
storage. Thanks all. Hope this clears up some questions.

@mrspazyspade, the size of the enclosure is: 5 1/2 inches by 3 1/2 inches
and holds 2 1/2 inch hard drives. Hope this helped! Thanks.
