Description

The listing, Plus size 2X Gorgeous Silk designed slacks has ended.

I don't ever remember wearing these. But they are sure nice. Very light weight with such a delightful and delicate stitched print on the material. The material has somewhat of a guazy effect, light brown or mocha in color. Size 2x.The Label on these says Citron. 100% silk. Machine wash (cold) on delicate cycle. These would surely make a nice addition to some gals wardrobe! Check the 2nd picture out below I did a close up so you could see the patterns on the material. The picture doesn't do these justice.

yes that it right-- where the inseam hits the crotch seam to the bottom hem. They are too short for me, I need about a 31 or 32 in-- but ...I could make them into Capri pants-- I have done this before --if I really like a pair of pants but they are short!
Hmmmmm... I will think about that! Thanks!

Ok good, I did it right then! They would make cute capri pants! If you put a nice crisp white cotton shirt with them...oh would it be a cute outfit! Just sayin'! No pressure though dear. You make up your own mind! :)

Oh Tammy-- I have so many typos - as I never really learned to type-- lol... in High school back in the 60s, my mom tried to get me to take Typing. I would say " What for? I don't want to work in an office! hey now, I was in the groove with the whole 60s scene-- well so NOW I regret not learning to type --so I have the old "hunt 'n peck" method! I know I could get a typing coarse but it's not on the top of my list..... Well I know to write God's name with a capital -always. I see that I didn't in the last email I sent--( it wasn't intentional...) You can sort of see one of my paintings next to me in the tiny picture! I work in Pastels and usually it's people-- Southwest art native Americans, Cowboys , Black Cowboys, Portraits (People and pets) and some more contemporary styles-- right now, Cafe' scenes.
Please do give me a heads up when you list some more neat clothes! Your sister and I might be kindred spirits on fashion ....!

Wow I love that painting! I have one of my spare bedroom's decorated inall Native American. That is a gorgeous painting! I did go to school to learn typing. Hubby says I type like a jet engine. Fast and furious. LOL I think you and Val very well could be kindred spirits in fashion! She too is an artist but does more drawing than anything. She is very talented but unfortunately has not done as much with that as she should! Yes for sure I will give you a heads up. Have a good one my dear!

You say these are a light brown-- they look like a beautiful golden yellow in the pictures-- that's what caught my attention! So they are not yellow?

Can you tell me what the inseam leg length is? (I'm sort of tall ) Thanks!

By the way-- they are very pretty!

I guess the are a dark golden yellow. You have to forgive me I was trying to post things in the dark and my eyes aren't the greatest at times. I will get the inseam measured for you when my daughter comes in from work later today.

If I measured them right...the inseam is a 28. I believe that measurement goes from the crotch to the bottom of the pant leg correct?

By the way... Are they washable?
Aug 21st, 2013 at 3:57:01 PM PDT by

Yes absolutely. They need to be washed on the delicate cycle in cool water. They can be also dryed on the lowest dryer temp. on the delicate cycle as well. According to the tag. I don't ever remember wearing these though. I have so many clothes half of them I've never ever worn! LOL I had a big wardrobe because I used to travel and minister alot. But I can't do that anymore. I've had an accident that has left me in a wheelchair unable to walk. So I am downsizing alot of my wardrobe.

OH! I'm so sorry to hear of your accident, I'm sure that has been life changing.
When life throws us a bad situation I guess we have to trust that God can make good out of bad for those that love him as the scriptures say.
I like you idea about the pants! i have several ideas about what would look nice with it! See? I'm already planning the wardrobe! lol...

Yes, It's been 3 years and lots of therapy and surgery and promise that I should be able to walk again. This last time, it was a no go because of complications. I am just pretty much resigned to the fact that if God wants to heal me I will be healed, otherwise I will just minister from my chair the best I can where I can. It's all good. I trust the Lord with my life whether I be walking or not, He still is my Savior and this life is but a vapor so I refuse to become bitter over this situation. :) I know that there are many things that a personra could do with these lovely slacks. The imagination could go wild with these slacks! I am thinking I may have got them for when I went to Africa because they are so light weight. But I just don't ever think I wore them. I ended up getting and wearing traditional tribal wears when I was there. Talk about beautiful clothing! I brought loads of that back with me, and I got more than I need of that too. I need to dig some out and put that on here too! LOL Anyhow I wish you the best with your decision and I know you'd come up with some wonderful fashion choices for these if you choose to get them! Have a great evening! :) God bless! <><

Yes we do have to trust that god has wonderful plans for us -- no matter what happens! I would love to see some of the clothes from AFRICA! I know that they use beautiful and colorful fabrics... I'm an artist and I love color- lol- I spent about 3 years in Mexico in the early 1980s-- and My work got even more colorful!

I imagine so! The clothing in Mexico is soooooooooooo beautiful and colorful! It's been awhile since I've been down there but oh my I do remember well! So you're an artist...LOL That explains your creative side! My sister is too and she loves the bright vivid colors as well. I love them but am more subdued with what I will put together and wear as an outfit, but she is outrageous and flamboyant when she puts stuff together, my oh my you know she's got a style that is all her own! LOL It's all good, if it makes you happy and it's not hurting anyone hey, go for it! :) Yeah I will try to give you a head's up when I post the Tribal wears. I have many of them and I really will never wear them all. They are so beautiful. The women's are called Agbada's and they have the head wraps as well that match. Have a great day! :)
