MMM. Yum Yum. I would say it tastes like a mix of apple and pear with a smooth texture. It's a tropical fruit but I have never grown one before. I have collected some seeds from it before but haven't try to plant yet. I'm not a green thumb. Lol. But love that fruit.

yes you can eat it. It's a fruit. It's sweet and creamy really like a custard. I can't really think of a fruit that I can compare it to.

And what about dryness? I live in Arizona where it is very dry and very hot (105 average April-October). Would it survive indoors? Thanks!
Aug 22nd, 2013 at 6:58:47 PM PDT by
Original
Have you had any success with fruit trees or any tropical type plant.? if yes then it will survive if not don't waste your points.

I know it says zones 10-11, but any idea if anyone has ever had any luck in zones 8-9? I intend to google that, but thought maybe you would know.... these look VERY interesting!!
Aug 25th, 2013 at 5:08:23 PM PDT by
Original
yes it can be grown in zones 8-9. Just take extra care during the winter months because the frost can burn the tree really bad.
