I too am blind, that's why I have these calculators..They are the best...Has your mom heard of the NFB/ ( national federation of the blind ) or you for that matter..go to www.nfb.org we do great things for the blind and it is run by the blind and we are nationwide...good luck bidding..say hello to your mom...I fanned you back...thanks

thanks much appreciated. yeah its very stressful on me cause I take care of her plus she has heart conditiom and copd. then I am a single mom and I am disabled and my 11 yr old daughter has severe adhd and she is autistic. very stressful and hectic on me. but ahes my mom

wow, that's a handful..there is another place..commission for the blind..each state has one..it's listed under your state..for example..i live in new jersey.so ours is called..new jersey state commission for the blind..they will send people in to teach her new daily living skills..( cooking laundry, cleaning.) just new ways of doing these things blind, also they can teach her mobility skills, braille so she can read things and the best thing is they will provide different aids, ex: specail pots with locking lids, talking clocks, watches that talk, books on tape, talking measuring cups, just to name a very small amount..these things all help and it will lift some burdon off of you..I too have copd and have had many back surgerys, so don't let other issues be an excuse for her not to grt help with some independece sorry if that sounds harsh, but I do know what I am talking about.I was also vice president of my local nfb chapter and have guided and have helped many blind and newly blind people..I know you don't know me from a whole in the wall but trust me when I say this will help all of uou out..

I am blind as well..I had 2 of these, that's why I put one up for auction.If you bid best of luck to you..Have you heard of the NFB/ ( national federation of the blind ) I am the past vice president of our local cahpter. If you let me know where you live I could probably find a local chapter near you. Or you can just go to:

yes, life does go on..it is hard,scary and frustrating but...we can do it...we do things in a different way, sometimes even alot slower but we can still do anything we set our minds on..I hope you got the info that I left with lawbrainiac below, it would help you out as well...
