The listing, Skrimshaw Blubber Cutter has ended.
This comes straight from Alaska. The Eskimo's used it to prepare their cut the blubber from their whales. It was an important tool and the blubber provided many benefits for the people of the area. It is extremely SHARP and should be handled with extreme caution. I'm not sure how old it is but has been in the family at least 40 years and the handle is made of real ivory (at the time ivory was legal)
