Description

The listing, Toys for beautiful little tots :) has ended.

My next door neighbor is in her older years. They dont have very much money. She came over to pick up some baby stuff from us (I have a 5 month old daugther) to give to her sons daughter. Well.. as she was sifting through things, she told us the story of why they were trying to get her stuff..

Apparently, the baby girls father is working 3 jobs to support himself and his 2 daughters and 2 sons. He took on the responsibility of everything whilst the mother was in-and-out of jail. She will remain in jail for quite a while this time. He wants his children to at least know they have a mother so he lets her come back. Now he's had enough. Regardless, he cannot get them much if anything this year for christmas. They helped him last year, but they are tight too. His little girls are 5 months old and 4 years old. We try to give them what we can, but since that is our daughters size and we are tight on money, we just cant do a lot. His sons are both 12 and 17.

He is in his late 30's and has spent his whole life being a great dad to these children.

We talked about it and can get them a couple of things.. little stocking stuffer things.. probably 1 a piece, but I didnt feel that was good enough. They have never gotten any big presents for christmas and they are in great need of baby things.. learning things, etc.

Anyway, I'm listing this auction to earn points to get them items. Or, if you'd like, pm me and I'll give you my address so you can send an item and I will take it to them personally ( I cannot give out their address as I want to bring the items christmas eve while the children sleep so they have a secret santa surprise) . I'm sure they will be happy with anything this Christmas, but I want to do my best to make it special for them.

In return, the bidder on here can get 20 coke points. I know that is not much, but that's all I can offer. We dont have the spare cash ourselves to give them so I cannot give it on here.

Any questions, feel free to ask!

The very bottom of the info:

"In return, the bidder on here can get 20 coke points. I know that is not much, but that's all I can offer. We dont have the spare cash ourselves to give them so I cannot give it on here. "

and then another member promised 3 cap codes to the winner... soo you get 29 coke points.

I got a message from someone who said they actually had a guy who was rich enough that he held auctions and then matched whatever was made at the auctions.. then he used the money and bought presents for the children who were signed up, regardless of income.. Man... I wish I knew that guy! Or at least lived in that state! And I too hope that I get enough credits to help them! I babysat them yesterday and it was soooo much fun. They actually cleaned up after themselves and I almost fainted when they ASKED to play with things....... he did an AMAZING job with them!

In the picture is their 5 month old. We took her and her sister to get their pictures taken with santa at kmart about a week ago. Thought it would be nice to have something to send to her mother.

This is so sweet of you to offer your support to this family!! Most people your age only think of themselves and don't put others first so it's very refreshing to see how generous you are :)
I have a question... I'm not far from Dallas either but didn't think there was a KMart around here Anywhere close by... so where did you take them to have the Christmas picture with Santa taken? It's Completely adorable and I'd like to get my kids pics done there too!!!
Secondly, I have a few things I'd like to donate to this family you're helping but I don't think I'll have any extra shipping money to send the items to you :(... is there any chance you could pick them up? If so I could probably give even more (including a few baby clothes) since I wouldn't have to pay shipping.
Anyway, if you can great... I'm pretty close to the Dallas Tollway and 121 so just let me know.
Many Blessings
~A

I'm near dallas, Georgia. I'm sorry, I forgot that I did not clarify that in my profile thing. I thought I had. I had a not so great childhood to say the least. Then I got pregnant at 16, had a baby by 17, and now that I am 18, I am moving into my own place. Growing up that fast certainly makes you realize just how grateful you have to be in life. It would not be right for me to not help other people when I've received so much help over the past year and a half.

Thanks so much! I got a lot of help from my friends and even neighbors and community members I never had met when I had my daughter. I'm only 18 now (just turned 18 on November 7) so it was a rough start. I was helped and I'd like to do the same for someone else!

Thank you so much SilverWerewolf. :) I greatly appreciate you starting off the bidding. I truly hope that the credits rise high enough for me to get some nice things for these children. They are so adorable and grateful. I've honestly never such well-mannered, well behaved children!
