The listing, Nintendo ds lite good for part or repair has ended.

the ds lite powers on but top screen only stays white. what wrong is the ribbon that gives pic to top screen got punctured when I was placing the pink cover on for my daughter. I would be good for some one to fix the cable or for parts.

Questions & Comments

Is both screens still attached?
Does it come with the charger in the picture?
My daughter doesn't mind just playing on just the bottom screen.
The only problem you might come across is say in Mario Cart, you cannot see map of course. In story mode, might miss things, other than that it would be good for parts.

yes the charger is included I forgot to say that and both screens are attacked and my daughter was using it like you said for a little while before I noticed that it was messed up

What is really this issue. Is it the actual strip that connects the two screens, the hinges?
Or is it internally broken? Or do you know?

You mentioned a puncture, where would that be on the machine.

For a reasonable amount, I will bid.

when I changed the outside cover I punched the ribbon that give the top screen and I checked into fixing it myself and seemed complicated to me

Oh I get it, it was original black and you took the top screen to make it pink, right?

Thanks, for clarifying all that.
It is a long drawn out process to replace or fix screens. I did that with the ds original, crazy but it worked. So many tool clamps needed to get everything just right.
Definitely cannot be novice doing this.
Points are valid. If not me, definitely someone who has done it before.

I just am interest in the car charger. I have not been able to find it in pink anywhere to match mine. Finding a ds for my daughter now. This set would be perfect. Something for her to play with. Or I might tried to fix it.
Watching/might bid if I have enough credits.
