Great condition some dead pixels in the phone everything works great. Locked to Rogers for Canada but can be jailbroken and unlocked to work on AT&T or T-mobile.

It can't be bumped up to 5.1because 4.2.1 is what's the last firmware supported for the iPhone 3G and no it hasn't been taking apart
