I have no idea about this one. I have no access to my gameboy and no way to test it. I dont even know the name of the game or how they work
It takes 1 aaa batterie, and i did put a brand new battery in it already for u. The battery is brand new out of package.i tried taking pics of every angle for u. This is what looks to be a regular game boy game. Plz rember i know nothing about it so cant answer many questions. Sorry.sence i dont know anything this is an as-is auction. Sorry about that but i just have no way to check it. I wish i did...
It does look like it say maybe rumble on it
You can see the mble some stars and midway. The rest of the paper has been tore so im unable to see the name of game.

I have never seen a normal GB game that had the "rumble" function, as it seems exclusive mostly to pinball games like the ones in the Pokemon series and Kirby series.

So, I looked this game up. The one on Amazon @ http://www.amazon.com/Ready-Rumble-Boxing-Game-Boy-Color/dp/B000021Y41 looks just like it, except the label is fine. And, it shows the box and book, which both say GBC on them.

Maybe, you owned a GBA, and played it on that handheld. The GBA played all the games out at its' time. Just that the GBA-SP would not allow the "rumble" function to work, as cartridges had to be placed in it upside-down.

Ya thats probly what it was. Cuz it is the gameboy color i checked agin and it only said it on the paper part thats tore. It didnt have the color actually on the pkastic. Thats why i didnt want to put it on here it was for sure. If i said that it was for sure and it wasnt itll be my fault when somesones not happy.lol but you could put it up.lol but your right ,i double checked,it is for sure the ready to rumble gbc.

Ready 2 Rumble Boxing. It requires the battery for the "rumble" function. And, it looks to be a GBC (GB Color) game, since it has the dark see-through casing.

if you had a gameboy advance or advance sp, they both play original gameboy and gameboy color games so you probably played it on that. The battery, is it the little round one, or a AAA size battery? Kirkland is Costco's store brand, does the game cartridge have any deep scratches or are there scratches on the gold leaf connectors where it inserts into the console? the battery on older gameboy games often goes out first which basically doesn't allow the game to function, but if you replaced it, the saving mechanism should work if the game itself does and doesn't appear to be "crushed" or the gold leaf connectors that show haven't been damaged or scratched. f & w.

I dont see any damage, the tripple aaa battery i replaced is from costco ,the lil battery inside the game, the internal battery i dont think has been changed but i dont know for sure. I dont rember buying this game. All i know for sure is that this is a ready to rumble boxing game ,and i put a new aaa battery in it. I havent touched the interna batteries at all, that doesnt mean they have not been changed but i cant say either way. Sorry.. Wish i could tell u more. All i know is what i have already put in the discriptions.. Thank,u everyone for all the help, questions, and input. And most of all bids.
