Wonderful! Your items sound absolutely fabulous!!. We definitely adore the same things and have much in common in the vintage world my Listia friend. You must email me pictures of your findings. Make sure you get them appraised sweetie and do not let anyone rip you off or steal them. They might be the real thing or great imitations! You can bite lightly on the pearls and see if the top layer falls off. If it does they are not real. Good luck and let me know how things work out love. Miss Linda

This is a lovely piece. As I was perusing the comments, I thought I might ask you ladies (Sharon & Miss Linda) to keep your eyes out for a vintage bridal set. I was forced to part with mine in 2010 when we lost our house. I really like white gold or sterling as opposed to yellow. I can't spend alot, so if you happen to come across something at an estate sale or such. Pls keep me in mind. Thanks!!

Hi sweetie, I am sooo sorry to hear of your loss):. My parents lost our house to a fire from bad electrical wiring,it was a very old historical log home in Lancaster County, we were remodeling and lost everything... especially my class ring and my Mothers Blue Willow china and all of our antiques. I thank God no one was seriously hurt. The things we lost were just "Stuff"! I do not take life so seriously now because you can't take them with you, they get lost, broke or stolen so I just enjoy them as long as I can.To me joy comes from Jesus not junk. Miss Linda

What is your ring size dear? I will try to look for a set and if anyone one this site has what you are looking for I hope they contact you! God Bless. Miss Linda

Lancaster County is beautiful but, very hard on your diet. LoL It is another world up here in Pa. I had a cultural shock when my parent moved me from Philly to Lancaster. I felt like I was lost in the wilderness for 40 Years. LOL The Amish make beautiful furniture and there are tons of antique shops and farmers markets that will destroy any diet. LoL Hope you can come visit sometime in the near future.Miss Linda

I generally wear a 6.5-7 on that particular finger, & I really like the antique or estate styles. My grandmother taught me a strong appreciation for antiques from an early age & continued to nurture it all the way up until she went Home in 2005 at the ripe old age of 87. I miss her so. I, too, have some stunning antique pieces (furniture) that I inherited & some I have managed to collect over the last 30 yrs. If you would like to see my "pride & joy" I would be honored to e-mail a pic or you can find me on Facebook & I can send it that way. As far as brooches go, I picked a beautiful one up on here a year ago to donate to my husband's niece as she was creating a "brooch bouquet" as opposed to the traditional flower one. I guess she liked it because she chose to use it as the clip to secure hr veil instead.
