Glow in the Dark Locket made by me
It comes on an 18" silver stamped chain
and glows an aqua color.
Leave in direct sunlight for a few minutes and watch it glow. Or you can use UV light.
This can also make a gorgeous present for someone.

Just wondering how long it glows for. and does the effect ever wear off over time?

I'm not sure the exact amount of time but it stays glowing for a few hours as it fades away. It should last a long time. I started making these in December if 2012, and have my first one that still works fine.

I will charge one up today in the sun, and let you know by tomorrow how long it lasted :)
