Its not a clutch, its a handbag. I'd guess a medium, but that depends on what one would consider medium. It can hold quite a few things, but I'm more of a black and "hobo" style person when it comes to purses.

As I've stated previously, it depends on what one would consider a small or medium bag to be. Personally, I'd consider it a Medium, but someone may argue and say a small. Compared to my "hobo-style" bag I use everyday its a medium.

As it is, No it cannot, unless perhaps used for a toddler.... It is a hand carrying bag, but someone who's good with sewing could more than likely add on a start to make it a shoulder bag.
