First you have to weigh it, then you must know the zip to which you are sending it. I doubt this can go first class mail because the box will be too big if you properly wrap everything. This is a vintage lamp, not an antique. To be classified antique is has to be over 100 yrs. younger than that and it is considered vintage, but this is a great lamp. you don't usually find them with the original shade like this, so it is a quality piece because of the china shade. It needs to be insured when you send it, and it should be put into the box standing upright and the shade should also be upright, That lessens the chances that it will arrive broken. Please make sure you send it Parcel Select with insurance for $100 and clearly mark the box with arrows pointing up so it doesn't get turned on its side and also mark it clearly as Fragile on all sides of the box. whit this be porcelain 2 part, i say if you don't have pay pal ,it cost you $ 15.00 for big large box to send, make sure wrap it in bubble wrap and put Inc on it ,only about 2 bucks,,hope this helps!
