I love your listing and have been watching since day one. Oh I have been saving up for this too. I hope I win. Here's a recipe to share cause just about any soup and especially in the winter is my favorite food.
FAJITA CHICKEN SOUP - DOLLYWOOD RECIPE
4 TBSP Butter1 Large Onion, finely chopped1/3 cup finely chopped red bell pepper1/3 cup finely chopped green pepper4 cloves garlic, minced1/2 cup all-purpose flour2 cups chicken stock1 1/2 cups heavy cream12 oz Sharp yellow cheddar cheese, grated (about 4 cups)1/4 tsp cayenne pepper Fajita chicken Fajita seasoning
In a large, heavy saucepan melt butter over medium heat. Add chopped onion and peppers and sauté until soft, about 4 minutes. Add garlic and sauté for 2 minutes. Add flour and cook, stirring constantly, for 2 minutes. Slowly whisk in the stock, milk, and heavy cream. Add Fajita chicken. Bring soup to a low boil and reduce heat so soup barely simmers. Cook, stirring frequently, until the soup is very thick and flavorful. Add the grated cheese in 1/2 cup increments, stirring after each addition until melted and smooth. Do not allow soup to boil. Season with salt, pepper, cayenne pepper, and fajita seasonings. Please note that if you do not have fajita chicken laying around, rotisserie chicken from the Food City deli works well. Use one of the more highly seasoned ones.

Well you all have tempted for me to share a recipe that I NEVER tell anyone. But....here we go. I make homemade WET Burritos. Back in the This is so simple. Take Shredded Chicken and make a cream based soup really thick!!!! (you can cheat and use campbell's cream of chicken but homemade is best). Cream based soup with onion, garlic, celery, cream, chicken, chicken broth etc..basic. 2. pour Old el paso enchalada sauce into thick soup mixture. 3. take flour tortilla put in cooked hamburger (seasoned with favorite taco seasoning), shredded lettuce, mex blend cheese, roll/fold. 4. put roll side down in sprayed glass baking dish. Make 6-8 of these pour soup mixture over top bake 1/2 hr 350. covered. Then take cover off, smother in cheese bake 5 more min and enjoy. EVERYONE will want this recipe. Shredded Chicken and Hamburger WET Burritos!

This is SO AWESOME, I think my favorite recipe is spaghetti. Try to make this a short recipe, Saute two stalks celery, one onion and two cloves garlic in olive oil, add two cans tomatoes and one can tomato paste. Add two tablespoons oregano, one teaspoon basil and two bay leaves (all dried), simmer for two hours stirring occasionally to keep from sticking, Add ground meat (lean hamburger, veal or sausage or all three) simmer for another hour, Serve over spaghetti noodles. I'm enjoying reading all of this more than I am bidding on items! I wish I could feast my eyes on the 1923 cookbook. I have a couple of cookbooks like that I love. I still use my mother's copy of the Companion Cookbook often. Easier isn't better in some cases, which is why I turn to that for special recipes! Hope I win This but if I don't, whoever you are ENJOY!!

Oh Thank you, I must admit something to you all. My mother was born in 1920 and her mother had one, used it everyday it seems. I still have the original, but it is so beat up. When I saw this a long time ago, I got it for the pure collecting of it. That is why it is in such good condition. I never used it. Still has some wear to it, but nice.
