Description

The listing, HUGE LOT! Thomas and Friends Trains and Railway Rhymes Book has ended.

You are bidding on a huge lot of Thomas and Friends train and a hard-bound "Railway Rhymes" book as shown on the photos.

The book as shown is in good condition. The pages are all intact. Even though it is categorized as a board book, it has cardboard pages. The book has a padded hardcover, and the pages are edged in silver foil. The size, heft, and shape of the book make it ideal for toddler and preschooler hands. It is a fun collection of more than 30 original poems featuring 35 different friends from the Island of Sodor.

You also get Thomas and Friends trains that are used and well played but have lots of life left to them. These trains are well constructed and built to last quite a long time since these are quality-made toys for boys and girls.

You get:
4 Thomas Train - one is battery operated and will run on it's own. You do not need tracks.
1 Annie
1 Old Slow Coach
1 Terence
1 Diesel 10
1 Chinese Dragon
1 James
1 James' Tender
1 Sodor Rock Transporter
1 Fearless Freddie
1 Culdee
1 Toad
1 Easter Percy
1 Sir Handel
2 Smaller versions of James

You get 19 vehicles and 1 book so 20 items total on this lot!

I will ship your item via UPS-Ground for FREE. I use the most basic UPS Ground Service. If you want upgrades such as shipping to P.O. Box, Hawai'i, Alaska, shipping outside of the U.S., military or faster shipment, I am willing to work with you but...YOU MUST PAY FOR THEM. If I have to go to the post office to use U.S. Mail instead of UPS-Ground, you WILL HAVE TO PAY FOR THE POSTAGE TOO. I need a physical address where UPS can deliver. They do not deliver to a P.O. Box.

All the items in my auctions come from a smoke-free and pet-free home. Please take a good close look at all the pictures. You are getting it as shown on the photos and I tried to describe it the best possible way as I can. I do not accept returns.

PLEASE SEE BELOW AS I RAN OUT OF ROOM.

I'm so sorry but I don't work with GINs anymore. I find that it takes my credit when I add it and it doesn't get used at all.

Thank you. My son just turned nine and I was so shocked when he decided he doesn't like Thomas anymore. Too bad, no younger sibling or relatives to pass it on to. Some of his milestones just kills me. His new interest is now building the more complicated Legos (big sets) and collecting Lego minifigures.

Thank you. It is so durable too so the older ones (the parents) will be happy for that. I just saw one Thomas and Friends train and was completely shocked. I forgotten how expensive each one costs.

My kids would love these!!! Just one question... Are these made of wood or plastic or die-cast?
+1
Oct 8th, 2013 at 9:40:15 PM PDT by
Original
It's actually a combination. Most of the trains are made out of wood, there are two smaller versions of James (and I think one of the smaller Thomas also) that are made out of metal or die-cast and a few of the bigger Thomas and Annie is made out of plastic. I hope this helps.

Oh, I got it. Yeah, the battery operated one pulling Annie (not sure what happened to Claribel) is part of this wonderful lot. I love how you don't even need the tracks to make it work.

Thank you. My son and I had an awesome time putting it together. He knows another lucky child will soon be playing with it. My 9 years old son still kept some of the trains that he is still not ready to part with along with Harold the Helicopter and Cranky.

do all of these have the magnet to hitch them all up?
Oct 11th, 2013 at 10:50:45 AM PDT by
Original
No, not all of it has the magnet. You can tell from the pictures which one has the magnets. If you look at the first photo where they are all lined up facing forward, the ones with the magnet has a round silver magnet right in front of them, towards the bottom. I counted 12 with the magnets They also have the magnets in the back of them too so that they can all form a very long train.

I wish you did the trains separate my 1 year old has some trains and the tracks but none of them work so they don't go around by themselves :(
Oct 11th, 2013 at 4:05:52 PM PDT by
Original
I'm sorry but I'm not sure what you mean. Separate from other trains as in listing it all individually or separate from the book? I listed it as a lot to make packaging and shipping easier for me, since I'm paying for it, and I was hoping that people or their kids would like to get a big set instead of just one train.
