The listing, HARI KARI KNIFE AND SHEATH has ended.

a very nice knife or letter opener not sure which the sheath is brass and does break apart into 2 pieces the overall length is
8 3/4 inches , the knife is a bit over 8 inches with a blade of 5 1/4 inches
as you can see in the pictures there is a Chrysanthemum stamped on each side of the sheath not sure of the significance of that but ya never know
pretty sure that this is just a novelty but still a pretty nice one

The chrysanthemum stamped on each side of the sheath is most likely the symbol of the metal artist who created it.

The Chrysanthemum was the symbol of Japan back during WWII era it was actually stamped into all their weapons. Not guaranteeing that's what it is, just my .02 beautiful knife as well
