A study of Cat's-Cradle in Many Lands by Caroline Furness Jayne.
First published in 1962 is an unabridged republication of the work first published by Charles Scribner's Sons in 1906 under the former title: String Figures.
String Figures - are games that are widespread among primitive people and played by weaving on the hands a single loop of string in order to produce intricate patterns supposed to represent certain familiar objects.
This is vintage and pages have yellowed a bit, it also have a name handwritten in the front "Virginia Bruner". Otherwise, it is in fairly good condition. 407 pages of creative string art. This is very interesting and timeless. Have fun bidding.

When I was a kid (way back when; LOL). We actually did play with string. So, I thought it was very interesting. A lot of the old things are coming back in again. Thanks for your interest
