Fanned, watching and bidding! Want to thank you for your love of animals. My daughter and granddaughter run a cat rescue and all are spayed or neutered :) Do you know of the greatergood site where you click to help a lot of great places and it is free, the sponsors pay for each click. Also freekibble.com. Thank you:)

I had forgotten about GreaterGood. Thanks for the reminder. I'll get back on there right now. Our sanctuary is also a mother/daughter project. One of our blind cats catches flies and one of our other rescue kitties helps us herd the chickens in at night. ;-)

they will send you a daily reminder, so does freekibble:) That is fantastic about the blind cat and amazing and amusing about the chicken herder!! They are so much fun and loving! Don't any of the cats try to eat the chickens? We had to take down all of our birdfeeders because it was a potluck for the cats.

We have a rooster to protect the hens. Even when they aren't around, the hens can also make themselves big and charge at a cat. They peck HARD. It only takes once and the cats never mess with them again. Sadly, birds are another story. We had to stop feeding the hummers when one of our cats figured out how to catch them. :-(

That is so funny, guess chickens can stand up for themselves, to bad birds can't. Use to enjoy watching them:)
