**Purple handles light up when scissors are closed. Each time the scissors are opened and closed (as in cutting action) the lights will come on solid, switch to flashing, go off, come on again. One tiny button on each handle is clicked when the handles come together**

**New in package, opened scissors in pictures were only to demonstrate light-up action. The opened scissors are not the purple ones, however, it is the purple ones in the package in the other pictures**

These scissors are made and sold as the kind of scissors kids need for school. For intricate details, you would want a very pointed nose scissor, as you can see in the picture, they have a rounded nose. For what you want, usually two different pairs of scissors are needed. One would be a heavy-duty, razor sharp pair of shears and the other would be a lighter weight (for dexterity and maneuverability) pair of scissors, very pointed nosed and sharp.
