Are there any markings inside? like Alpaca or 925? I had one just like this and mine was Sterling silver and genuine abalone stone with mother of pearl. You should really check because this could be worth a lot more than your starting bid of 499. I sold mine on E-Bay for 80.00 :) Just thought I'd mention a few things for you to check out. If it is marked Alpaca...or 925...it's real sterling silver and real abalone and mother of pearl. not silver plated :) so if it turns out it is real...you might want to up date your info and you'll probably get a lot more bids :)

It's probably real if it's marked mexico! Mine came from mexico! It's worth a lot...hope you get lots of bids on this it's really a beautiful bracelet :)
