This is 1 Amethyst rock with numerous small crystals. It is about 1 3/4" long and 1" wide. It is just over 1/4" thick- but is not consistent.

This is from my personal collection. This is from a Canadian Amethyst mine I collected from in 2008.

The purples in this specimen vary greatly. It is very colorful and really shows the abundance of the different purples in Amethyst. It is very beautiful and glimmers.

Amethyst is February's birthstone.

The Greek word Amethyst translated means- to “not drunk”. Today, amethysts are used in alternative healing practices for reducing addiction.

Amethyst can repel negative energy and attract positive energy. It can also bring you calmness and inner peace.
