I typically wear a medium as well. The only issue is the cowl neck. Sometimes it was a little big, but the body of the sweater was very nice - like a sweater tunic. It came just below my thighs when I had it on.

Do you happen to have a measurement on the length? Also, I don't see any but I like to double check -- no stains or spots right?

I will check later tonight on the length, but there are no stains. it barely left the house - only worn two or three times and i've had it for about two years.
