This sweet baby Girl, Emily was just reborn on
Nov. 19th. at 8:55 PM!
She weighs 5 lbs. 12 oz. and is 20 in. long.

I've been reborning for about 3 years now. My reborn name is Little Angelheart's Reborn Babies. She was painted with several layers of high quality reborn paints. She has been rooted with mohair and her hair is styled cute with pig tails. She has veining, several flesh color skin layers, warm blushing, dark blushing, molting, creases, her nostrils are open and dark felt was added to the inside of the head at the nostril holes to make her look more real. Her head, legs and arms are silicone feeling. The limbs are 1/4 length. Her nails have been tipped, her eye brows have been painted and she has eye lashes. She is weighted with fine glass beads and plastic pelletsl. She has a magnet on the inside of her mouth for her pacifier and at the side of her head for magnetic bows. She has a jointed cloth body and is lightly scented. Her nostrils, lips and eye edges have a moist look. She looks and feels like a real baby. She was an Ashton Drake Emily doll, but I took her apart, removed her paint, rooted her, added fine glass beads and magnets. It took me 2 weeks to make her. I've never reborned this large of a doll with silicone like material. It proved hard to get the skin layers and skin tone correct. All babies are

She is not a play toy, she is weighted with fine glass beads that are not safe for kids under 12 who may rip the doll open, inhale or eat the beads

Thank you! It does take a lot of talent, patients, love and time. When I made my 1st reborn baby 3 years ago, I really messed up on her and burnt her in the oven. The kits cost $50.00 so you learn from your mistakes quick. I'm sure you will be as good if not better than me before. Loving the art is the 1st step:)

I just wanted to say how BEAUTIFUL she is!! I'd never even fears if these type of dolls until I saw this, and honestly, I cried!! It may sound silly, but I, Paris God hit married at 18 abd surprise, surprise I got pregnant right away with a baby boy, and at age 22 had another little boy! The lives of my life of course, however I still wanted to try and have a daughter, unfortunately it wasn't in the cards for me and I had to have a hysterectomy. My boys are now 20 and 16 and i now desperately want one of your little baby girl dolls!!!! I've been divorced since they were 6 and 2, and once I finish getting everyone's Christmas gifts off of here, then I'm going to make it my mission to try and save enough to get one of these baby girls!!! Thank you for introducing them to m!!! Now someone who couldn't have a daughter for 15 years, can!!! :-) :-) :-) :-) :-)

That is so sweet to say. I understand about complications. I had to have 2 c-sections for both of my children and had to get fixed because I almost bled to death with my last one. I didn't think I could get pregnant and when I did I was so sad when I miscarried my 1st one. I seen these on the news from someone who had 1000. I thought if I bought one it would ease the pain in my heart. But when I got it I thought about all the other people who long to have their arms filled or who were as broken hearted as I was. I love dolls and crafts so I thought I would try to make my own out of the love that I had and to honor my lost baby. My heart heals a little more with all of the love I put in each doll that I make and send out knowing that baby will be forever loved.

Well i think this baby is so precious i really wanted her but bid up to my max 70.000 this one looks more real than any ive ever seen by far. Ive always wanted one wish i could buy this for the lady above that lost her son :( so sad ive lost two never could have children biological anyways have one son adopted at age 21 months he is my pride and joy :) ty for the listing of this precious baby :)

I also have 4 others on Ebay including some AA Biracial babies. I keep my prices really low to give people a chance to get a nice baby. It cost me about 110.00-130.00 in supplies to make 1 small babies (about 200.00 for toddlers). I hope this one gets a good home:)

That is so sweet! I love my children and all children so much! I love making reborns because I never know how they will look. Each one is a suprise just like a real baby. The eyes and hair color is picked out after. My husband is really great! Sometimes he picks the hair color or eye color out. He also has a lot of fun naming them when I decide to name one before he or she is listed. It's great to have such a strong support all around me, not just with my family but also with my Listia friends:)

You have a lot of comments on here so forgive me if this question has already been asked but do you make these and sell them? Could I design one and you make it? I lost my son and his 1 yr birthday is today. I'd like to have a doll as a memorial to him.

I'm so sorry about your loss. Yes I do make and sell these. I list them on Listia once in a while but I also sell all sorts including black, biracial, spanish, white and asian on Ebay. I'm sorry. I don't do custom orders to make a doll look like a real baby because I'm a bit of a perfectionist when I make them and you can never get the baby doll to look exact. I do have small clay baby angels in another auction and I can paint the hair color any color that is wanted. I do make reborn babies with angel wing on also.

It's ok, I'm not offended:) Real reborns sell a lot higher than reborn starter play dolls because it takes $100.00 or more in material to make one and it takes me 2 weeks to make make one. Rooting the hair alone takes 4-8 hours depending how thick the hair is rooted. I charge only $200.00 through paypal to make 1 (includes shipping). Less if the baby is bald:)

This baby is absolutely amazing! Beautiful work! This post is actually the first time I have heard of reborn dolls. Obviously this particular doll would not be suitable for a child. I see where your other doll is weighted differently to be more suitable for children. I have a two and a half your old who is really into her baby dolls right now. When she gets a little older I would love to get her a doll that looks and feels real, but is also suitable for her. Any suggestions on what to look for? Is this the only place you list your dolls, or do you sell them somewhere else as well?

I also list child safe reborn starters. A child's play doll that was painted with reborn paints and weighted with plastic pellets instead so they are much safer for children but kids under 3 can still choke if they rip the doll open and eat the pellets. I can always remove the pellets.
