This pendant is a coin from Trinidad and Tobago, about the size and color of a penny. It is surrounded by a filigree of hearts. So unique!

I found this description of the coin:

Trinidad and Tobago 1-CENT (KM29) Hummingbird
There are over 20 species of hummingbird in Trinidad and Tobago, none of which are called "Balisier Hummingbird" which is what the Krause catalogue (and everyone else) calls the bird on this coin. The "balisier" part of the coin is the flower that the hummingbird is feeding on.

The Central Bank of Trinidad and Tobago makes no reference to the specific species of hummingbird, and I suspect the coin is meant to represent all the different hummingbirds found on the islands.

This pendant was given to me years ago as a present. I have no idea what is the metal that surround it. Very nice though and it hasn't change color. Looks like gold but I don't think it really is.
I hope someone and enjoy it. Would be nice gift for a collector too!
