They're made 100 % from wood, probably varieties of bamboo and other exotic woods, because some of the patterns formed are remarkable! The winner is welcome to ask for particular sizes if they wish, and I will do my best to accommodate your request. If no particular request is made re: size, I will send a range of sizes. Absolutely!! They have several different general patterns to them, varying between a leopard print sort of pattern to a sort of hi-tech spirograph sort of pattern, with individual variations on those themes. They caught my eye right away, due to the patterns in the wood. And, I've always enjoyed naturalistic things, so I just had to have them. Then when I got them, I realized they could be put to a myriad uses, from rings to jewelry findings, or dreadlock beads, as Meghanleigh mentions below.
