Now that I have had some time to think about this, it seems kind of silly that it could affect the warranty because the wax simply sits on a tray on top.

As a scentsy addict. YES you can burn any wax tart in a scentsy burner. Dont know what rmc0302 is thinking. ONly wax tart i;ve ever had problems with is yankee tarts and the only problem i had with them is they are harder to remove. But thats before i started buying scentsy tabs.

Clearly this is Scentsy's way of monopolizing the market (which makes sense) , but it still isn't realistic to me. so, apparently there is a warranty issue.

Yeah Just some way for them to force you to spend extra money on costly products! I burn whatever kinds of tarts i want to in my burner. After all I bought it! If the burner tears up its probably because of an electrical short. I've been burning whatever i want in my "Scentsy " Burners for 4 years and have yet to have one tear up AT ALL let alone malfunction because i didn't use a "Scentsy" Bar in it. Hun, Honestly I think its offending to the reps who sell them to see them and similiarly equal products going so reasonably compared to what I payed for mine from the company. In My opinion, My Walmart wax burner works just the same and it was 15 bucks!

And am0917 I have had Many of "Scentsy" Wax cubes dye my scentsy burner and I have actually had to scrub the top with an SOS pad to get the residue from "Scentsy" Bars out of my burners. Is that why the tabs were made? The spatulas have ALL torn up on me.

no they can not be used in scentsy warmers.

many of my customers use these in these warmers including myself. they are functional in them. I cannot speak for a "warranty"

Like myself, rmc is probably a distributor for scentsy. It absolutely DOES void any warranty with scentsy. Should something go wrong with your WARMER (scentsy doesn't burn anything) the company can refuse to replace it due to using another product in the warmer. Wax tarts and scentsy bars are two very different things and the residue from "wax tarts" does affect the finish and use of the dish.
