I would say it was somewhere in between a medium and a large. The top is made of crochet it does not stretch at all. It does have a small rope / string around the waist. that you could tighten with.

This was a gift so I don't know what store it came from. The brand is J G E E. ( I don't know this brand). I assume that is a womens large. don't know the measurements.
