CLUTCH:
Era: 1940's
Brand: WALBORG
Hand-made in Belgium

A beautiful clutch purse by WALBORG. Clutch is made of ivory satin, covered by hundreds of ivory seed beads. I can't imagine sewing on all those tiny beads by hand.

This clutch is in fair condition. There is a small area on the front missing a few beads. Appears someone tried to repair it at some point. There is also a stain on the inside of the flap (see photo). The interior is ivory satin, with one major compartment, and what looks like a few pen marks. The flap is secured with a snap. The snap works well.

The label reads "Made in Belgium by hand WALBORG." Walborg purses were only made in Europe during the 1940's. Clutch measures 7" x 4 1/4" x 1/2".

WALBORG purses were very popular and known for their original designs and quality craftsmanship.

Measurements: 72" across, 40" from top to bottom of V"
Lace with fringe on bottom
Care: Hand wash, dry flat
Made in Japan
RN #: 25495 searched this number and other pertinent info, but found nothing.

BROACH:
Style: Cameo
Color: Gold base, blush background and ivory cameo
Measurements: 1 1/2" x 2"
Features: Opens into a locket
Brand: Avon

PERFUME SAMPLE:
By: Germaine Monteil
New in Package (actually found this in the clutch listed above)
Scent: Royal Secret -
"Royal Secret was launched in 1935"

Hi! Yes, the lot is in good condition. Not sure how old the shawls or brooch are, but the clutch and perfume sample are for sure in good condition given their age. Was so tickled to find the perfume sample in the clutch.
