Attention all Pokemon collectors!!! I have hundreds of pokemon cards. I also have a collection of cards not shown here that are about or at least 10 years old and 90% foil cards. The older cards have been kept in plastic since the time of purchase.
I didn't know until tonight that people are still collecting them. On someone elses auction I have asked for alittle help identifing what is valuble. As you can see, besides what I have on the table I also have 2 large stacks. I know very little about them except for that some are foils and some are in excellent condition and some are worn.

This auction here is a kick starter and to get some attention and help. This auction is to win 2 random pokemon cards. I will take into consideration requests but no promises that specific ones will be sent. I will do my best to answer everyones questions and possibly take more pictures.
Any honest help is appreciated.

Nice collection!! SUPER impressed! I'd love that beautiful holo Snorlax or a Gardevoir, but I respect what you said that you can't guarantee cards. Makes total sense! Nice auction!

I didn't find a Phany in any of the cards shown or in the stacks. I have other cards that I'll pull out and see if i might have it there.

I also didn't find a Gardevoir, and the snorlax I think you're talking about, it japanese correct? there are about 5 cards that are pretty beat up in those hundreds, the jap. snorlax is one of them. It has a scratch/rub on it. If you bid the auction I will still grab 2 but i'll also just throw in the snorlax also since it is damaged.

Is there any other cards anyone wants me to look for????

no problem. Is there anything else I could look to see if I have? Also if there is 2 you see I will send what you ask for. I thought there would be more bids thats why I didn't want to promise specific cards but considering there isn't you can pick two, and I'll probably throw in an extra one.

The reason bids aren't to high is because your a new seller its better to do a few auctions and get some positive feedback before you make a hit auction cause people don't know if they can trust or not, you still have 0 bids so you still can delete this auction so you can make some single card auctions to start just to make a name for yourself. Then after you get a few positive feedbacks then post this then people will know your trusted and the bids will flow in. but you can go days with no bids but more people like to bid it up when the auction has nearly minutes left to end.

Thank you for the advice. I completely understand being new here to Listia I haven't had enough time to build my account. Within a day or so i should be recieving 3 positive feedbacks. I started this auction with only bidding off 2 cards but showing alot in the picture hoping to have people trust in me enough to bid. I'm not here to rip, or betray anyone. We all start at the bottom and have to work our way up, I have only been on Listia 5 days and already have won 2 auctions, sold one and have 19 listed. It will take alittle time but I am here to stay and will show I can be trusted. Thank you again. I will be listing more pokemon cards soon.

I have a dumb question to ask... Isn't a foil card the same as a holo? If not then what is the difference?

A holo (holographic) has a shiny background, similar to the little square on a credit/debit card. If you tilt it, the shiny part changes.

A foil / shiny is a card with a shiny background, that does NOT change when tilted.

... also, do you have any cards in Japanese/French/German?
