Oh and I don't know if you got an answer to your question of what gin is, it stands for get it now. You won't be able to do it yet but eventually you will, when you list an auction you can set up a gin of a certain amount so if someone wanted to choose to get it with that rather than taking their chances with the bidding. But the minimum amount you can use for a gin is 2000 credits and listia charges you credits to get a fee if you do a gin on your auction
