The listing, FIRST AMERICAN IN SPACE 1959-1961 has ended.

This is a photo card 5X7 of Captain Alan Bartlett Shepard, Jr. by NASA of the 1959 space flight, being sealed in the "MERCURY" spacecraft. He is the first American to fly into space. And then in 1961 he manned "FREEDOM ". This rare portrait card was produced in 1979 and has a serial number on back for authenticity. Printed in Japan.
