Again, I don't know what to tell you except that is the way they were listed when sold to me. They come from China or that area. They are 'new' but the 'old' I think is just used to refer to the type of jade or something. From what I have read there are actually 2 types of jade- Jadeite and Nephrite. Not sure which this is. I don't think it is actually 'old' in that it is antique but maybe I'll just leave that word off so it don't confuse folks.
