The listing, signed abstract oil painting has ended.

This is an abstract oil painting that I found behind a frame I purchased at a Thrift Store. It's on a 9"x12" piece of canvas board and there is a signature in the lower right hand corner. It looks like it says:

PAYTON

but I have no idea who that is. Abstract artwork is not my cup of tea, so I thought I would offer it to my fellow Listians...

I paint abstract art and the thing you got to know is that there doesn't need to be a visual picture or even a form. Its the feeling behind it the emotion in every stroke that mood the person was in when they painted it. You can tell heavier strokes show depth and and smaller ones show gentleness. From experience thats how i would interpret those but it could be any assortment of things. I hope Ive helped better understand abstract. :)

it might be joy payton.. Im not sure though. Elizabeth payton payton alfred but i think those are spelled peyton... sorry i don't know lol
