Hmm. They can from what I've seen, but you need something called adobe digital editions. You can get it online easy enough though. I found a few links to it just from a quick search. But I would do a little searching before bidding on it. I don't have a Nook so I don't know personally.

Go for it. Maybe there's a free app that will do it. I know for the iPad there's a free app but you have to put it in a folder in your iTunes and sync it to your iPad. Maybe something like that will work for your Nook too.

I prefer my nook over ANY other tablet. I've had them ALL. I use mine as a tablet AND an e reader. the books are cheaper on the barns and noble side than ANY other ebook. believe me., even my boyfriends mom wishes she had a nook and she has a kindle.

the nook HD + 9 inch screen usually costs 100 or so on ebay. was the pdf file done in adobe do you know.?
