I found this necklace in a box of jewelry that I've had for a while. I was going to use the egg shaped pendant on an altered art bracelet but changed my mind because the whole piece is just so stunning. The chain is a rope chain, golden and brand new looking. There is a little connector piece at the lobster claw that is marked 14K GP, which I assume means gold plate. But it looks so real, so no one would even question you about it's authenticity! The chain is 30 inches long and about 1/8 inch thick, quite heavy too. The pendant - egg - is enameled in black with gold colored outlines and little faux pearls and rhinestones completely around it. The pendant is almost 1 inch long and 5/8 inch wide at its widest part. It is ovoid shaped and in part of the pattern you can see inside the pendant. It looks like it should open, but I tried and didn't want to force it. At the bottom, there is what looks like it could be a hinge, but I'm not going to try to open it. The pattern of little faux pearls and rhinestones is intact except for one tiny rhinestone missing that I didn't even notice until just this morning. Really a nice piece! The pictures don't do this piece justice.

I probably shouldn't have used a black background for a black pendant. I'm sorry the pictures of the pendant are not clearer. It is truly egg shaped. Under the rhinestones and faux pearl embellishment is the bottom of the egg. If you get my drift...

No, not worn at all. Probably just the shadows. The chain is so bright and sparkly I had to take it to my jeweler friend to verify that it was not real gold. Whoever wins this will be very pleased. Thanks for your interest!

Thank you for bringing my suboptimal pictures to my attention. I use 2 cameras, one I just don't know how to adjust the size of the jpeg so sometimes the pictures don't come out at all good. That's sweet baby Molly and she was in front of the little fan...trying to take a nap but someone had to click the flash in her face...lol.
