Up for Auction I have this Elliette International Sweater, Hand Made in British Colony Hong Kong, 70% Lambs Wool, 20% Angora Rabbit Hair and 20% Nylon.
Elliette International was a British Company back in the 50's and 60's. Their clothing line had beautiful and high quality items. Anyone interested could Google the name and look at the models that are currently auctioned on other sites, which include the prices that are asked for them. My Mother told me that she thought my Grandfather purchased this sweater for my Grandmother in Spain, sometime during the 60's.
It is a Vintage size Medium. It is in Perfect used condition. I wore it 2-3 times and it is beyond lovely. Im not sure that my Grandmother wore it at all. It came to me in a garment bag and I have had it for around 26 years. The same garment bag it will come to you in. It is completely covered in pearls and sequins and on the inside is a beautiful pink sweater material as mentioned before.To my eye there is not one single pearl missing.
It is a rare find indeed!! For the real Vintage buff you have just struck gold!!!
