Green Laceleaf Japanese Maple a.k.a. Acer palmatum ‘Viridis’ 2 seeds

Green laceleaf Japanese maple trees, like the red variety, are known for their narrow, serrated leaf lobes and shrub-like appearance. These weepy perennials will enhance your landscape. Offering a contrast to other dissectums, its leaf tips tout a reddish tone in spring, relinquishing to green in summer and spectacular gold/light yellow tones in fall.

The tree shown in this picture is in my backyard and is about 4 ft tall. It never grows any taller but you need to prune it to give it the shape you like. The second pic shows the colour of the leaves when it turns red. And the last pic shows the samaras or seeds.

Samaras are dry, indehiscent fruits that bear a wing. The wing may be limb-like as with maples, or flat and wafer-like. A samara arrangement with two seeds attached in the middle forming a "helicopter." This will help the seeds to land further away from the original plant.

My plant did not produce many samaras. For this reason i am only offering 2 SEEDS (or 1 samara). I don't know what conditions make it produce seeds.

The tree in my backyard is a hybrid tree. Please take note that your seeds may not be exactly like the parent plant. It is very expensive to purchase the tree. I am sharing the seeds here with you.
