It's dye free, naturally scented, no phosphates or enzymes. I think it would be just fine :)

That's too bad :( I've only ever used this on baby's diapers. I love this stuff. They have a whole range of great products. It is just a sample size, so if you were to bid and win if something did happen at least you're not stick with a whole large package of it. You can wash clothes with it as well, not just diapers.
