Well I placed a pretty hefty bid before I read the response but in pretty sure I will be out bid. If not, I'll just add to my tool collection. Gives me a reason to but a small compressor :)

well you have to consider what you could do with the compressor if you go to a pawn shop you should be able to pick up one pretty reasonable and the compressor is really handy blowout nozzle lets you clean out air conditioner coils , blow up low tires lol all kinds of things lol fanned

Does this work on nails and brads

it works on brad that are 18 gauge and they come in packages of 500 or so clear up into the thousands , you choose the length you want then load the nailer with a section of nails and when you want to nail something you just put the point of the nailer on the spot so it depresses the safety and pull the trigger and a nail is shot through the gun and into your project
you should go to you tube and search brad nailers they have some pretty good videos on there or go to lowes or home depot l'm sure they will explain it my daughters are coming over borrowing mine all the time they love using them

well the best answer that l can give you is that l could take the nailer as is hook it up to my compressor and use it all day laying trim or what ever then only time l have ever had any trouble with the nailer is when l am doing oak trim but then again it isn't the nailers fault it lays with the nail itself 18 gauge nails are just too thin for oak
this gun was used on a system with an oiler after the gun was used it was stored in a proper storage and before using 2 or 3 drops of oil was put in the guns air line
this guns works as good today as it did the first day l got it and in a craft situation you shouldn't have any problem with it lasting you a very long time

sorry the case wasn't saved have a special toolbox for my air tools tried saving the cases but it was just a pain have 7 air guns easier to just keep them together and that way they are not out of sight out of mind and take better care of them
