The listing, Olympic Coin & Stamp Lot has ended.
In the spirit of the current Winter Olympics going on in Russia up for auction is an olympic lot consisting of four coins (all issued by the host country of that year) with two of them containing silver and an assortment of stamps from various countries.
Included:
-Mexican 25 peso from the 1968 summer games in Mexico City. This coin is 72.5% silver and contains about 0.52 Troy ounces. This coin is a little dirty but it still has great detail, I personally don't mind them a little gunky
-Japanese 100 yen from the 1964 summer games in Tokyo. This coin is 60% silver and is about the size of a US quarter. This is one of only two coins issued by japan for the 1964 games, the other being a 1000 yen silver coin.
-Spanish 25 peseta coin from the 1992 summer games in Barcelona. This is one of two 25 peseta coins issued; the one you are bidding on is the discuss coin, the other is the high jump (not included).
-I've also decided to include one of the 25 rouble coins for the Sochi, Russia games. This coin is uncirculated and is beautiful. It's one of four 25 rouble coins being issued for these games. This is the Olympic torch coin.
-there are only some stamps pictured, I'll most likely add more and they will vary between summer and winter games and different countries. To the auction winner if there's any preference with the stamps I will do my best to accommodate. (Probably about 30 stamps total)
*all listia rules apply

-Auction style is way too much fun so as always low starting bid
-comments and questions and anything anyone wants to add is always welcome and encouraged, just please be respectful (I havent had problems so far and it'd be great to keep like it that)
