2002 topps stadium club football cards in good condition
Reggie White & Clyde Simmons

I am trying out something new with this auction. I'm going to have a trivia contest. The first person to answer the question correctly gets a free football card from me. I will e-mail you a choice of 5 cards to pick your prize. You will also pick one of the five cards to add to the items won by the winner of this auction. But in order to submit an answer you must bid on the auction first which means placing a bid higher than that of the person who is the current high bidder. Once the first trivia question is answered correctly, I will ask another and the same rules apply. I will do this until the auction ends. Remember, each time a question is answered correctly, another card is added to the auction for the eventual highest bidder. As soon as this auction is listed I will ask the first trivia question.

Sorry, I don't make the rules - Actually I do. I'm throwing out the question and asking another. Everyone is eligible to answer this question.
Larry Csonka and Mercury Morris were the first two teammates to rush for 1,000 yards in the same season, who were the second pair to do this?

Better re-check your facts, Livvysmom, that answer is incorrect. Patriotsgirl83, you are now eligible to answer this question.
Mar 8th, 2010 at 11:28:16 AM PST by
Original
Livvysmom, I cannot stump Patriotsgirl83. She might know more about football than I do. lmao
Not really, but she knows a lot.

As I say--you're only a failure if you DON'T try! I look forward to seeing the answer!
Hey, how anxious are you about getting your item? You wont give me bad feedback if I don't get to it till next month,er re, I mean, Wednesday, will ya?hehehe
Mar 8th, 2010 at 11:55:29 AM PST by
Original
You are so right about that. When Patriotsgirl83 checks in you'll see the correct answer, maybe. This one is a toughie. lmao
Mar 8th, 2010 at 12:12:08 PM PST by
Original
she was kinda right. When they were founded they were known as the "Indian Packers" but once they joined the NFL, Lambeau changed the name to "Acme" Packers. Neither name stuck. I think that is how Livvysmom answered. :)
Mar 8th, 2010 at 3:09:32 PM PST by
Original
She did not answer the question correctly. I asked what was the original name of the Green Bay Packers when they joined the NFL. The keys words here are "when they joined the NFL."
Do you have an official answer Patriotsgirl83? :o)
Mar 8th, 2010 at 3:23:09 PM PST by
Original
yes...my answer is "Acme Packers" (why do I feel like I am on who wants to be a millionaire?)
Mar 8th, 2010 at 3:35:35 PM PST by
Original
Sorry, that is incorrect.
You are on "Who wants to win a football card!"
Mar 8th, 2010 at 4:13:35 PM PST by
Original
I thought I might stump you on this one! :o)
Mar 8th, 2010 at 4:14:13 PM PST by

no one wants to answer the question...:(

Somehow my e-mail notifications got messed up on Listia and I haven't been getting notified when someone comments on one of my auctions. It is fixed now. So if Patriotsgirl83 and Charger89 wanna battle it out on my auction, by all means!
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:49:47 AM PST by
Original
um...what was the answer? don't leave me hanging! Mercury Morris...ugh, he bugs the crap out of me. Had to think hard on this one! Harris and Bleier for the Steelers? Can't remember their first names, sorry :(
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:02:59 PM PST by
Original
Mercury Morris is just trying to hang on to all he has left in this world. Can't blame the pathetic excuse for a former football player.
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:07:55 PM PST by
Original
Franco Harris & Rocky Bleier is correct.
Original rules apply for next question so Patriotsgirl83 you are ineligible until someone outbids you.
What team did NFL great Joe Namath end his career with?
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:11:13 PM PST by
Original
really? someone better know this!!!!
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:21:28 PM PST by
Original
Do you?
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:24:34 PM PST by
Original
aw...I though you had more faith in me than that! I do :)
Mar 8th, 2010 at 5:26:16 PM PST by
Original
I thought so.

Green Bay Packers was the answer to the last trivia question. They are the only NFL team left from the original season of 1919.

Patriotsgirl83 has chosen a Leonard Russell for herself and a 1994 fleer Don Beebe (Bills) for the winner of this auction.

Mar 9th, 2010 at 5:59:05 PM PST by

No one has answered the Joe Namath question. You must bid before giving your answer this time. lol
Mar 9th, 2010 at 6:05:27 PM PST by

Can I answer that question?
Mar 9th, 2010 at 6:19:54 PM PST by

Okay, I am declaring this trivia game officially over. Patriotsgirl83 if you answer the question correctly (and I'm certain you will) then I will send you a bonus card of my choice.
Mar 10th, 2010 at 6:58:03 AM PST by
Original
LA Rams.
Mar 10th, 2010 at 9:24:57 AM PST by
Original
That would be correct. Must killed you to have to hold that in until now. :o)
Mar 10th, 2010 at 9:29:29 AM PST by
Original
It did :) Sure how I win this auction now :)
Mar 10th, 2010 at 10:47:04 AM PST by
Original
lmao. Good luck, you certainly put a lot of work into this auction.
Mar 10th, 2010 at 10:50:27 AM PST by
Original
Okay, Patriotsgirl83 has chosen Irvin Fryer for herself and a 1992 topps stadium club Mo Lewis (Jets) card to add to the auction for the winning bidder.
Next question is :
What city did the Redskins represent before moving to Washington?
Patriotsgirl83 you are not eligible to answer this question until someone outbids you then you can make another bid and be eligible to answer the question (which I'm positive you know the answer to!).

I am going to guess Seahawks and Bucs?
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 6:25:00 PM PST by
Original
Give the lady a PRIZE!!!! The Buccaneers very first season in the NFL as an expansion team was in the AFC. The Seahawks started out in the NFC. The following season they switched where the Seahawks stayed until the NFL realigned to the current 4 team 8 divisions format.

The winner of the very first trivia question has chosen a Vincent Brown (Patriots) card for herself and a 1992 topps stadium club Rod Woodson (Steelers) card that is added to this auction for the winner.
Mar 3rd, 2010 at 6:53:56 PM PST by
Original
Next trivia question : What was the original nick-name of the Chicago Bears? Patriotsgirl83, you are not eligible to answer this question until someone outbids you on this auction. Then you can re-bid and answer a question.

Mar 4th, 2010 at 1:28:32 PM PST by

No, it was the Chicago Staleys. Since I asked for the nick-name and you mentioned the nick-name, I am going to rule that the question has been answered correctly.
