hi first - nice auction - i would bid, if shipping would be free... second - i read your conversatiion about scams. I have bad experience as well, thats why I never bid or send to India again - fraud nation on Listia (not once oor twice, but 5 times!)
when you list something stamp related, I am interested:) keep smiling! Krepki
Hello Hello my friend.. Let me check with the post office in my home town to see about the shipping fee plus I can send them to you without loosing on the way.. Talking about sending oversea I do have so many stories to broadcast..Your ears will be dead..but, it is better to say..then you Feel better..Have a Wonderful Monday.
I myself no longer ship to India as well. I have gotten burned so many times its pathetic. I don't know if the people are lying and really got them, or if the postal people steal them, but either way, I lost out on all my stamps & covers, AND my credits because I could not prove I sent it. I had many items up at once and 3-4 different people from India won them, but (supposedly) NONE of them got them! Not just 1 or maybe 2, but ALL of them! So I say forget it!!!!
Hello my friend. I want to cheer you up by sending you 2 Mint Thailand stamps I want your Address by PM message so I can ship right now..I hear your loud and clear. Now I sent stuff to Thailand and want to know 3 shipping pp got them already. Too much money and go no where with the post office oversea. I share your Grief..Thanks so much for sharing with me..
You are such a nice lady! I've never shiped to India but I never will now lol after hearing all these horror stories I'm scared to even try.... At any rate awesome auctions! I fanned you
Hello My dear Do not make any judgement yet..TRY it first and you can ask me what town and whom I sent them to...DO not judge people by the BOOK..my bad experience does not mean it is a standard..Give others a chance and work from there.. Thanks so much for fan me and feel free to PM me when you need information about sending oversea..thank you.
Hello You can check with the post office through the toll free number and the Post master can help you..by the way, oversea countries are not all bad..even India if you know where to send and you can ask upfront for the postage. Do not discourage at all..I do have a good friends from England and New emerge countries in Europe that the post office are very Great..
Lol ok I was getting a lil scared from all those not one person in India got my items. I don't want to be out the credits ya know. But I guess u should try everything at least once
Hello my dear Communicate with the person first and talk it out before you send the item..do not be afraid and remember Trust your gut completely before you Send your item.. You do have a power to rate he or she. PM me any time..you have got a friend. Have a Wonderful Sunday..
About the INDIA banter thread, i must admit that - as an Indian - i really AM embarrassed ( ... because you are not lying either ) & apologize for what my countrymen do but should not be doing... L-0-L ;-) ^Grin & bear it ! ???
The comments "the postal people steal them" might be "closest to the truth" since the unscrupulous ones take advantage whenever the opportunity is presented to them via the "could not prove I sent it" route. ## i am sure US POST also provides the ( more expensive ) "signed for on receipt" [ INDIA POST call it Registered; Acknowledgement due ] facility.
As luck would have it, i have [ God is GREAT ! ] never missed any packet sent from the USA although Thailand, U.K., South Africa and Israel have all made my list and make me just as wary [ and SAD ] as you all appear to be...
Philatelists just do not get treated "respectfully" in this electronic age, would you agree ?
On my part, i have [ just joined ] decided to keep providing a SPECIAL* offer as my own contribution to preserving Philately... Aptly titled "Keeping PHILATELY alive... " - it will feature a nice Miniature Sheet at the starting bid of 0 points & only 99 cents IF "registered" delivery is sought.
PLEASE "share your views" because i am simply "devoted" to Philately...
Love your Comment very very much..thank you for your time. We need to make our trade better since stamp is my life..It makes me a better person every day. I meet so many great persons at Listia whenever I lock in. US postal does not pay attention to oversea shipping and I am afraid to ask my 3 friends that I mailed the gifts to them. Now I will have a conversation with the Post Master to lobby them for a better postage to oversea in order to do more with my auction especially trading stamps.. Already fanned you and I will bid on your auction..let me know how can I pay you for a better shipping in the future.. Welcome to Listia and there are so many stamps Lovers here..they are so nice and Wonderful..you need to meet them.. I will google you but, you can not google me..I am nobody in this town..ha ha.. Your new friend, Thorisa
