I make them for my rats and I also donate hammocks. There are mot grommets on the hammocks yet but they will be added before being shopped out to highest bidder

It's made for animals a little bigger but I have a female rat that is realllllyyyyy tiny like a large hamster and she is fine on them....

I just took a second look at the hammocks..they probably will not be big enough for a large ferret unless they sleep curled up...if they stretch their body out its not long enough but I've noticed with my rats that they curl up to fit I'm the smaller stuff I've bought from stores...I dunno. If you are buying for a ferret I would measure what you have for them already and decide that way.

I don't know if I will be putting more homeade stuff up for auction unless I can reach 700 or more bids....this stuff costs me to make and would normally sell for around 7$ a piece on Etsy.
