Amish grown since the early 1930's, this beefsteak yields big harvests of 1 to 2 pound, yellow-orange fruits that occasionally have a pink blush on the blossom end. They have a fabulously sweet, fruity taste and meaty texture with relatively few seeds for their large size. The softer flesh was perfect for making orange tomato paste. Wonderful!

I only take Paypal for International bidders, I do combine any additional auction seeds (within 5 days) for no additional shipping charge. I am happy to say that my seeds tested 99-100% germination within 2 weeks at a temp of 70°F in the spring of 2013. Excellent for beginners!

Propagation Method: From seed, sow seeds indoors 6 weeks before last spring frost. Sow 2-3 seeds per pot and thin to one plant per container. After four weeks, transplant seedlings to larger pots, and about 10 days before the last spring frost, begin hardening the plants to the outdoors. Transplant your plants to a sunny, highly composted location when soil temperatures are at least 55 to 60 degrees Fahrenheit. Stake or cage the plants for support and to prevent sprawling on the ground.
