$35 GOLD Certificate from 1891. Interest coupon from a $1,000 Mortgage Bond from the Evansville and Indianapolis Railroad Company $35. payable in GOLD on July 1,1891. This is a very small note only 3 in by 1 in. See scans for details. Very odd and rare.

They did that with confederate bonds from the civil war too, i have a $1,000 bond from the south with all the interest coupons still attached and the bond was issued and signed!!!! yes, they are rare!!!

They are neat, I paid quite a bit for this but I want other stuff now so I'm thinning out my collection so I can afford more.

as far as I know they are just a collector item.I paid about $15 for this one about a year ago.
