Distinctive, dark purple foliage, wonderful fragrance. Lovely in flower garden or in a salad. Great for dramatic background combined with orange marigolds and blue ageratum. Or u can just eat it.. :)
Germinates in about a week n a half to two weeks. Fast growing.

Yes, I actually grew sweet basil also last year. But I favor the dark opal because the taste is a bit different.
