@ppayo8: I noticed you said (nice) on about 10 of my listings also. This may start to annoy some people. There is a daily cap on XP's Just thought I would let you know? I was trying to promote Listia at one time and it upset some people. Thanks. So what you are doing will most likely upset someone. Good luck. You can hit all of my listings you want. No big deal to me.

It goes too slow most of the time, it seems, as I've managed to bid on several auctions with a minute or two to go, only to find out they had already ended. People have told me they have had this happen while bidding on my auctions as well. Since people like to bid at the last minute, this can be a lot of bids Listia is missing out on.

rictor@ The same thing has happened to me on other listings.

I bid 6666 on this auction with one minute to go. Got the error message auction had ended. Seems like the timer is off a couple minutes. http://www.listia.com/auction/17152

I have also bid on auctions, refreshed the page after the auction supposedly ended, and the timer suddenly adds 15 seconds and counts down, even though it had shown the auction as ended. I'm using the latest version of Firefox. Should I be using IE for best results?

sorry about this timer problem... would you say its usually too fast or too slow? Would you prefer a static timer until we fix the problem? Basically the timer acts differently on each machine since its running on the browser.. We do have some ideas on how to make it more accurate however.. Thanks!
