MZB was famous for a series of books about Darkover, a low tech world where laran (different forms of psychic talents) gave people poiitical power. The society started off similar to old England with lords, and peasants basically. This book has about 13 stories set in 4 different time periods from early Darkover to the time when they were rediscovered/discovered by space traveling Terrans. These stories are all by MZB. pages=335
