I think that someday, eventually, spring will come, so It's time to start offering my profusion of seeds!

These were harvested from my "organic" garden last fall. ***ALL photos are of my garden , my flowers and my actual seeds. ***

About 2.5 ft tall at maturity.

These lovely purple flowers are perennial. Growing beautiful green blade-like foliage. The bloom time is short but spectacular. With perhaps 3 flowers per stalk. (Hotter micro-climates force a more synchronous bloom. Cooler micro-climates produce longer / staggered bloomtime. )

They like well drained acid soil of pH 6-7 .
They also like a few inches of mulch in full sun to keep roots cool. Drought resistant once established. Good for temperate climates.

They will not bloom the first year after planting seed. But will spread more each consecutive year, reaching their a peak after 3-4 years. They will need to be divided to remain beautiful after ~5 years.
